*Without a home or studio, Laura safeguarded her art in storage units. The pieces shown here are what loved ones recovered after she passed away. There are likely many more pieces unclaimed.

Across her prolific body of work she layered numerous botanicals, including Gerber Daisies, Passion Flowers Hydrengas, Queen Anne Lace, Photinia, Shasta Daisies, Poppies, Cosmos, Delphiniums, Fushias, Oregano, Yarrow, Eucalyptus.  She also included ferns, ivies, vines, tendrils, grasses, and herbs in her botanical treasures.

I use the flowers and leaves to create this art just as a painter uses paint. The compositions have a fine balance of order and chaos.  This is a cornucopia of nature!
